Split over 3 floors, there’s plenty of privacy for everyone.
The property comprises of:
Ground Floor:
The hallway leads through to the fully equipped Kitchen with all the usual amenities (pots, pans, serving dishes, cutlery, baking trays etc.) There is a large range cooker, American Fridge Freezer & lots of storage space for your food & drinks. There is also a filtered Coffee Maker. The large kitchen also has an island with breakfast bar and stools.
The kitchen leads through to the dining room which has a table that seats 6. The dining room also has a wood burning stove and a rocking chair. The dining room leads through to the sitting room which has a large L-Shaped sofa and a 2 seater sofa. Double doors take you out to the garden terrace area.
Also from the hallway is a further door leading into the downstairs shower room which also has a lavatory and hand basin. This utility room also houses the washing machine and water softener unit which ensures you don’t have to suffer the hard water found in this area of the country. There is a side door that leads outside.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Kingsize bed with 2 chest of drawers and a wall hung TV, a thick blind provides suitable shade & privacy.
Bedroom 2: large double bed with wardrobe, chest of drawers, shelving and a wall hung TV, thick curtains provide suitable shade & privacy.
1 Bathroom with Bath and shower over, lavatory and basin.
Second Floor:
There is a landing with bean bag chairs. Off the landing is bedroom 3 with standard double bed & wall hung TV.
Outside:
Terrace:
The lovely paved terrace is the perfect spot to entertain in the sunshine – with outside seating and a drum BBQ (please remember to bring charcoal).
Rear Garden:
Behind the terrace is a large fenced & private grassy area – perfect for doggies including No.2’s! We request that you please do your responsible owner duties and clean up after them though. Thank you.
The garden has side access through a wooden gate. Ideal for bringing bicycles or wet doggies through so no need to go through the house.
We allow 2 dogs (please read house rules prior to booking). We have a king size bedroom, a large double bedroom & a standard double bedroom for which we provide full bedding including linen and towels (these beds are fully made up on arrival). We accept up to 6 guests, however we also provide a travel cot you may use if you are bringing an additional teeny tiny guest (please bring bedding).
Unfortunately we are unable to offer early check in or late check out.
Please not our gardener may pop in from time to time to water the plants and mow the lawn as well as other gardening should it be required. He or she will of course be as efficient as possible so as not to impact on your stay.
EV Charging: This is available at an extra fee. Please inform us of your vehicle details and charging requirements prior to arrival and we can inform you of fees.
We also rent out hot tubs to our guests. If this is of interest for your stay, just let us know and we can provide you with a price.
2 dog allowed. All dog waste must be picked up and bagged in dog poo bags then disposed of in black bin bags. Dogs are not allowed on beds, furniture or upstairs!!! And please bring towels for wiping them down and muddy feet. Barking dogs are not allowed. Failure to comply could result in us seeking compensation.
NO FIRES ARE PERMITTED INCLUDING FIRE PITS except in the BBQ. Thank you
